MIEKE KOCKELKORN

After graduating Master Culture and science Mieke studied Fashiondesign. At the same time she worked for the opera house Opera Zuid, where she got very experienced in making costumes ready for stage.

Nowadays Mieke is a independent working costume designer. She is specialised in designing for modern dance.

Collaborating with Sally Dancecompany Maastricht, Fashionclash, De Nederlandse Dansdagen and Choreographers like Martin Harriague, Stephen Shropshire, Krisztina de Chatel and more.

Mieke's work has been used by several companies in the Netherlands and abroad. Like Scapino Ballet Rotterdam, Malandain Ballet Biarritz and the Kibbutz Dance Company and more.

In her costume designs you will always recognize her fashion eye.
